SILVER SEED by Logan Sours
Opening Celebration Oct. 25, 2024

7-10 p.m., Guthrie Green (111 Reconciliation Way)
Installation dates: October 25 - November 29, 2024

Logan Sours, Dreamspace Lab and The Makers Out will debut “SILVER SEED”, an immersive, sensory-shifting art installation. Participants will step into a stunning geodesic dome filled with light and sound, joined by live performances and a garden dance party under the stars.

Inspired by the magic of nature and human connection, “SILVER SEED” features a gleaming silver centerpiece that draws from Neil Young's “After the Gold Rush,” with a reflective shell that symbolizes resilience and curiosity. Inside the dome, experience a warm, womb-like atmosphere complete with pulsing lights and music.

To mark this grand opening, enjoy a free concert featuring OKC music artist Lincka, Tulsa futurist dance duo The Links, and a live, full band front-to-back performance of The Makers Out’s albums Bloodlines and Hope. Don’t miss your chance to experience this one-of-a-kind fusion of art, music, and nature!

About Artists Creative Fund

Artists Creative Fund is a program of George Kaiser Family Foundation made possible with the support from the Tulsa Community Foundation and CACHE.  ACF provides grants annually to improve funding, visibility and professional development for Tulsa-based artists and creatives.  In July 2024, 20 artists were selected to receive $10,000 to test, explore and create innovative work for debut during the grant period that concludes in March 2025.

GKFF is working in partnership with the Creative Arkansas Community Hub & Exchange (CACHE), a Northwest Arkansas based, regional arts services provider, which led the application process and professional development programming.
