SoNA Beyond: Peter & The Wolf

The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA), in partnership with Arkansas Public Theatre and the City of Rogers, presents a bilingual performance of the classic children’s tale Peter & The Wolf set to the timeless music of Sergei Prokofiev (1936) as part of their SONA Beyond Series. There will be two performances on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 4:30pm and 5:30pm. This event is done in participation with the Art on the Bricks July Art Walk in Downtown Rogers and was made possible due to a generous grant provided by the Clorox Company.

Peter and the Wolf – 25-minute program featuring 5 players and two narrators (1 English, 1 Spanish). Each character of this tale is represented by a corresponding instrument in the orchestra. Instruments include – Flute, Violin, Clarinet, Cello, and the French Horn. 

This event is general admission with tickets at $5 advance and $7 at-the-door (including taxes and fees). Doors open one hour prior to event start. All seats are ticketed. Recommended for patrons age 5 . The balcony is only accessible by stairs. Tickets are available at arkansaspublictheatre.org/tickets.
