Call for Artists

Solo, Group, and Individual Works Welcome

Harvester Arts is now accepting solo and group exhibition proposals and individual artworks from artists at all stages of their careers, including first-time exhibitors, to be considered for curated group exhibitions in our 2027 exhibition calendar.

Join a vibrant community of creatives and help shape a year of dynamic, thoughtful exhibitions.

The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 31, 2026. For questions, contact info@harvesterarts.org.

Harvester’s artist-led Programming Committee will select proposals for solo and group shows, and curate group exhibitions based on the individual works submitted. Whether you’re proposing a full exhibition or submitting a few pieces, this is your chance to be part of Harvester’s 2027 lineup.

Harvester Arts is a collaborative, experimental space in Wichita dedicated to inclusive, community-connected exhibitions. We especially encourage submissions from artists and curators who have been historically underrepresented in gallery spaces. All media and genres welcome.

Since its inception, over 4.3 million people have raised more than $1.7 billion on the Kiva platform. Kiva believes in supporting people based on character, not credit scores, and in the power of community-based lending. This approach allows them to offer funding to entrepreneurs who may not qualify for conventional loans.

Application Narrative and Work Samples:
Portal Open September 9-30, 2026

The Arkansas Folk and Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Program funds teams of mentor artists and apprentices who are committed to sustaining their artistic traditions and cultural heritage. Teams are required to develop a work plan for the upcoming project year, meet with each other regularly over the course of the year, and finally, share their experience with their communities at the culmination of the project.

  • Priority is given to mentors and apprentices who share the same cultural community.
  • Priority is also given to living art forms with few remaining practitioners.

The Arkansas Folk Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Program seeks new applicants each year to better represent the spectrum of cultural communities across the state.

The Arkansas Folk and Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Program is supported, in part, by state partnership funds from the Arkansas Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts.
