ART WALK Comedy Show

We’re bringing in some of the funniest comedians from across the region for a night full of huge laughs! The ART WALK Comedy Troupe features local favorites and nationally touring comedians Kenneth Crabgrass, Joe Means, Shaan Choppala and The Frisco Kid. Seriously funny with PG-13 humor.

The Comedy Show kicks off the ART WALK, a three day art event in downtown Springdale and is a fundraiser with proceeds supporting future ART WALKs.

There are two shows to choose from:

4-6PM Matinee

8-10PM Evening Show

Your Comedy Show ticket includes a ticket to the ART CRAWL which takes place from 6-8PM. Meet some of the ART WALK artists and enjoy and a pour. It’s the perfect addition to the Comedy Show!

In between shows, catch the comedians for a meet and greet in front of The Apollo on Emma.

A little bit about our host and the comedians:

Liz Velasco is the evening’s host. She is a powerhouse entrepreneur hailing from Vicente Guerrero, Durango, Mexico, a mother of two kids, and knows first hand the joys and challenges of balancing a career with motherhood. Her journey in the world of radio broadcasting began seven years ago. She is currently the program director of Hot Latin 99.9 FM, a popular local radio station.

Kenneth Crabgrass: the world’s funniest professional lawn mower by day and a guitar-strumming, irreverent-song-singing comedian by night. With his green thumb and quick wit, Kenneth keeps audiences roaring with laughter as he mows down the boundaries of comedy. Catch him on stage for a unique blend of music, humor, and unruly grass.

Joe Means: Joe is a comedian from Memphis Tennessee who shares hilarious insights into family life and the struggles of getting older. His family moved to NWA in August of 2022. He likes to talk about his family experiences, being a husband and a father & the struggles of getting older. On stage his life is an open book, and his belief is laughter is the best medicine God gave us.

Shaan Choppala: Shaan moved around a lot growing up but has lived in NWA for 15 years. Along with pursuing comedy and entertainment, Shaan loves to cook and is starting an Indian food business. You’ll be highly entertained with his blending of comedy and his love for entertainment.

The Frisco Kid: The Frisco Kid originally from Los Angeles, California, but NWA is where he proudly calls home and where he started his career. He’ll take you on a comedic journey through his life’s adventures.
