HOBBS STATE PARK-CONSERVATION AREA PRESENTS: A LIVING FOREST MYSTERY: This fun, non-scary family friendly event will include crafts, interactive exhibits, music and more. The main attraction will be a 40-minute guided hike along a 1/4-mile paved trail.  Along the trail, you will meet and interact with costumed forest inhabitants to learn more about them and see if you can solve the Living Forest Mystery. We recommend arriving one hour prior to to your ticketed time to enjoy the crafts and activities inside the visitor center. Entry to the trail will require a free, TIMED ticket for each participant (regardless of age). Participants should meet at the Ozark Plateau Trailhead (located near the visitor center) 5 minutes prior to the ticket time.  After your tour on the trail, we encourage you to visit the education pavilion to enjoy music, purchase refreshments and explore the additional information tables. Guests are encouraged to wear their costume to this event, but no scary or gory costumes please. Parking is limited and carpooling is encouraged.
