A Bucket of Blessings | Presented by Trike Theatre

Trike Theatre, in collaboration with the Ra-Ve Cultural Foundation and Dhirana Academy of Classical Dance, presents “A Bucket of Blessings,” a vibrant theatrical production inspired by a myth from India. This enchanting play, written by Madhuri Shekar and adapted from the book by Surishtha and Kabir Sehgal, will be performed at the Thaden School Performing Arts Center in Bentonville, AR.

Set in the majestic mountains of India, the story follows Monkey, who notices that her once-lush jungle is suffering from a severe drought. When her mother shares an old legend about a dancing peacock that can bring the rains, Monkey embarks on a quest, along with her friend Baby Elephant, to find the magical Peacock and save their home. The play explores the rich beauty of Southeastern Asia and introduces young audiences to themes of play, perseverance, and cultural heritage.
