For this immersive event, we invite guests to create an art object that will become part of a future exhibit. This project will involve guests in the simple act of meditation through coloring, which so many have turned to for peace and solace. The collective work will help call forth important COVID-19 pandemic moments, including the first coronavirus death in Arkansas, helping us revive memories that have faded into the past.
Other open house attractions include projections of the three frames within the Likewise studio space and an opportunity to see the works up close and personal within Likewise. Visitors will also have a chance to sign up for volunteer opportunities and meet the artist and other project contributors.
Joining in partnership with SecondHelpingNWA, guests can enjoy complimentary BBQ. The Hearts Project merchandise (stickers, fine art prints, notecards) will be for purchase, with 20% of the sales going to support the continuation of the COVID-19 memorial. CASH ONLY
