Chinkapin Hollow gravel racing kicks off on November 8th with multiple route options of 24, 40, 64 and 96 miles.
Participants can expect long stretches of rolling gravel roads that descend through historic communities predating the American Civil War.
Riders will depart from Lake Wedington through wooded, canopy covered roads that are not normally open to riders. All four distances include sections of Forest Service roads that are normally off limits to cyclists but are available to Chinkapin Hollow participants through a special permit. From there, they'll travel on some of the best gravel roads you can imagine!
The start/finish location is Lake Wedington Recreation Area just outside of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Lake Wedington is a US Forest Service Park and offers great amenities and a natural setting to come hang out for the weekend and enjoy some of the best gravel in the Ozarks of Northwest Arkansas.
There will be hot food and cold beverages once you finish inside the park.
