Honduran multidisciplinary artist who uses clay, printmaking, and painting to depict pop culture through visual art
Azalia began her career when she was awarded a full tuition scholarship for undergraduate studies in the United States through the Walton Foundation. During her first year as an undergrad, she took an art requirement course where she learned ceramics. After falling in love with the medium, Azalia continued to learn more art mediums and techniques, receiving a B.S. in Studio Art and Business Administration from the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas, in 2018.
Azalia paused her artistic career for 3 years after graduation. However, moving back to NWA in 2021 awakened her desire to bring back her creative journey. After all, Arkansas has always been her safe place to create and where it all began.
Azalia continues her creative career through commissioned work, public artwork, and leading her own marketing agency, @clevermarketing.nwa.
