Describe you and your work

I am an artist from Tallahassee, Florida. I earned my MFA degree in Printmaking from Syracuse University in 2017 and my BFA degree in Studio Art from Florida State University in 2014. I live in Bella Vista, AR and works as an Exhibition Designer at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. My artwork is represented by MIXD Art Gallery in Rogers, AR and Kai Lin Art Gallery in Atlanta, GA. I have exhibited internationally, nationally and my work is part of private collections throughout the United States, Europe, Australia and the United Kingdom.

I create narratives through conceptual arrangements. My artwork contextualizes the mundane experiences found in our current and future landscapes. Through this exploration, I find stories in items of commodity and I use that discovered information to transcend the everyday. My work starts from a genuine place of personal questioning and reflection, overtime that grows to interrogate and incorporate themes often tied to industrial and environmental symptoms. I create art to highlight paradoxes in manicured climates and form observations around the familiar for the human condition and our environments.
