Poetry Book Club & Writing Workshop meets the last Thursday of every month at Two Friends Books and is led by Sarah Anyieth from NWA Poetry Connection. After discussing the poetry collection, participants are invited to respond to writing prompts inspired by the book. It’s a supportive environment, and all are welcome (whether you’ve read the book or not.)
May Book: MILK AND HONEY by Rupi Kaur examines survival, love, loss, and feminity and will be an inspirational read for May. (Originally, THE PEACE of WILD THINGS by Wendell Berry was chosen for May, but it is out of print.)
