Our dear friend and bandmate...and one of the greatest male vocalists our region has ever known...Darren Ray passed in 2018.
Last year, we decided it was time to put on an annual show to celebrate his life, friendship and musicianship. The show coincides with his birthday in September where this year, Darren Ray would have been 62.
This year is the second annual Darren Ray Celebration Concert featuring the band the last 9 years of his life, The Uncrowned Kings, along with regional music greats, Leah Spears-Blackmon, Dawn Cate and Diane Rudolph. More surprise guests are anticipated!
The event this year will coincide with the ARKANSAS MUSIC WEEK festivities Sept 14-21 brought to you by The Arkansas Music Experience, Experience Fayetteville and Downtown Fayetteville.
