The JBU Choirs will present their fall concert on Friday, October 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cathedral, under the theme “Old Faithful.” This is a free event, no tickets required!
"Old Faithful" takes inspiration from the famous geyser in Yellowstone National Park—known for its consistent and reliable eruptions—the program reflects God’s enduring faithfulness and music that speaks faithfully to our hearts.
The concert will feature works spanning centuries and styles: sacred polyphony masterpiece by Palestrina, romantic part-songs by Schubert, Mendelssohn, and a classic Anglican Anthem by Hurbert Parry, an American folk-hymn setting by Alice Parker, and a powerful spiritual arrangement by Moses Hogan. The program will conclude with Jacob Collier’s World, O World from his Grammy Award–winning 2024 album Djesse Vol. 4.
We hope to see you there!
