A Real Shirt Show

B-Unlimited has been making art on shirts since 1994, and it’s always been a rollercoaster. When orchestrating 12 to 4000-piece jobs, with a growth curve that has shot up over the last decade, our systems & people get tested – but the hearts & heads at B have always come together to get the job done, Improved our practices, and had a ton of fun along the way.

We want to elevate what we do every day, to connect to the larger creative community, and to build pride in every person at B as a player in a creative process which has yielded amazing, weird, rad, beautiful art for over 28 years.

The Real Shirt Show is an Art Exhibit / Open House at the home offices of B-unlimited showcasing our design history, the unique talents under this roof, and some creative play with recycled shirts from our friends in the arts and fashion community.

The show will feature framed pencil sketches from the archives and mounted “on-shirt” original and reprinted shirts. There will be hand-customized shirts and an impractical shirt idea section, process videos, and installations utilizing knit fabric, recycled strike-off prints, and defunct printing tools.

We will have food, music, an artist pop-up, and you can even join in with some hands-on live-printing. So, welcome to the fold, It’s a real shirt show in here.
