The Black Action Collective will lead a community discussion on the implications of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s iconic text “Letter from Birmingham Jail (1963). The program will feature a video of NWA Community Leaders reading the letter followed by a panel discussion with community and faith leaders.
Provided in partnership with the Northwest Arkansas Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). The video premiere and community discussion will kick off the 8th Annual NWA Black History Month Celebration sponsored by Walmart, MANA Medical Associates, Cox Communications, and the University of Arkansas.
