Michael McArthur is a critically acclaimed songwriter and musician with a bittersweet style rooted in personal experience. He built his career the same way he writes his songs—by putting in the work to get the muse to visit. With several singles and EPs under his belt, created with producers David Bianco (Tom Petty, Lucinda Williams) and Greg Wells (Adele, Taylor Swift, Rufus Wainwright), McArthur released his first full-length album, Ever Green, Ever Rain on his own label in 2018, produced by Grammy-winner Ryan Freeland (Ray Lamontagne, Bonnie Raitt). He wrote and recorded his sophomore full-length release amid the isolation and uncertainty of the global pandemic, working with storied producer Jacquire King (Tom Waits, Kings of Leon, James Bay) to create Milky Stars, a 12-track album awash with imagery as intimate as it is mighty. The album was released via Transoceanic Records in September 2022.

Michael McArthur’s “Lady Luck” spent multiple weeks in the top 40 on Billboard’s BDS Triple A indicator chart.
