Musicworks Brass Band

The award winning Arkansas Musicworks Brass Band is embarking on its Summer 2023 tour featuring the AMW Youth Brass Band in its first performance in Eureka Springs. Led by USAF Band (DC) Flight Commander and Associate Conductor Captain Brandon R. Hults, the Musicworks band will be performing brass band classics as well as a new work by Phillip Harper (Cory Band), “St. James’s – A New Beginning”, musically chronicling the re-envisioning and rebuilding of St. James’ Church in the wake of the Great Fire of London. The youth band will be performing selections including Malcolm Arnold’s “Little Suite #2” and Paul Lovatt Cooper’s “Dark Side of the Moon”.

The bands will feature two native Arkansan soloists, Schilke Trumpet/Cornet artist Dr. Douglas Lindsey (Harrison/Springdale) and Besson Tenor Horn artist Patrick Oliverio (Sherwood).
