Join us in our very first tapping workshop! This class, led by Tim Hammer, will teach you how to properly tap a tree to get syrup! You will learn about different types of trees that are tappable in Northwest Arkansas as well as how to properly use tapping tools.
This workshop will just be “how-to” tap. Collecting enough sap to turn into syrup, “sugaring”, takes multiple weeks. There will be a follow-up sugaring workshop in January which you will be able to register for soon.
Coffee, cookies, and all the tools you’ll need will be provided. All you need to bring is a smile, warm clothes and closed toed shoes.
