Casual time hanging out with interesting people! Each Social Hour focuses on a different part of the creative community. You’re welcome to attend any Social Hour that interests you or is relevant to your professional and creative career.

What is an arts administrator?
Arts administrators look different in each artistic discipline but they all work behind the scenes on behalf of artists and creatives everywhere, providing resources, support, and structure for their projects and practices. Often, these types of roles combine a passion for the arts with business, management, education, programming, fundraising, and/or communications expertise.

What is The Medium? Where is it?
The Medium is CACHE’s Downtown Springdale creative hub—or venue—dedicated to providing accessible studio, rehearsal, exhibition, and performance space to Northwest Arkansas creatives. The Medium is located at 214 S. Main St. Springdale AR 72764

She has worked at the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa, the Scott Family Amazeum in Bentonville, John Brown University in Siloam Springs as an adjunct professor teaching Art History, and was most recently the Executive Director of Main Street Siloam Springs. In the last several years, she’s had the privilege to combine her love of public art with enhancing historic downtown spaces; she was honored with the Main Street Arkansas Outstanding Director award of 2018-2019. Kelsey currently sits on the governor-appointed Arkansas Historic Preservation Review Committee to protect our state’s historic buildings.
