Each 3rd Friday of the month songwriters come together to share their music in a relaxed, nonjudgmental, fun, musical environment. 
Everyone will have a chance to play at least a couple songs. This is a “jam” atmosphere where harmony and accompaniment may happen (when appropriate). 
The objective is to have fun, enjoy each other’s company & music, and perhaps learn from each other.

About the host: Lee Haight
Lee is a retired educator who has played music semi-professionaly in NW Arkansas for over forty years. He is board president of the local chapter of Solider Songs and Voices. He also co-hosts the First Friday Songwriting Workshop. Haight has been writing songs for 30 years and has studied songwriting with some of America’s finest songwriters!

This is FREE, but due to space and time constraints, attendees must register.

The mission of Soldier Songs & Voices NWA is to foster a creative and supportive community of veterans through music instruction, performance, and outreach.

Join us for a medley of music performed by Catalin Dima.

Catalin Dima has established himself as one of the leading artists of his generation. His commitment to championing contemporary music is evident through his innovative programming. Dr. Dima combines mainstream and rare piano repertoire, currently focusing on Romanian, American, and Japanese composers. His dedication to artistic exploration and experimentation reflects his unwavering commitment to keeping classical music vibrant and relevant in the modern age.

Currently, he serves as the Assistant Professor of Piano at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

Spotlight Sessions Open Mic is shining a light on young artists. These sessions will open with a social hour geared towards high school & college aged artists who are seeking to expand their skills.

Social Hour: 5:30p-6pm
Music 6-8pm
2 songs maximum, acoustic preferred unless you bring your own gear.
Performers should bring their own instruments, however we do have a piano in house as well as a lending library with several instruments you may want to explore.
