Borderless Collaboration, Thinking, and Living: A Performance with Nigerian Artist Jelili Atiku

Join the School of Art for a unique performance at the Pryor Center on April 4 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. on April 4, 2026! Renowned Nigerian performance artist Jelili Atiku will return to Fayetteville, AR, after six years to present a second performance at One East Center (formerly listed as the Pryer Center). Meet at the front entrance at 1 E. Center Street. Titled Borderless Collaboration, Thinking, and Living, the project brings Fayetteville, Arkansas and Lagos, Nigeria into a dialogue in which viewers will witness a coordinated performance in Nigeria at the same time the performance is happening in Fayetteville. Coinciding with the first Farmers’ Market of the season, the simultaneous performances will unfold in both cities, each projected in real time onto a screen in the other location, creating a virtual performance space that connects the two communities across continents.
