I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way – things I had no words for. Georgia O’Keeffe
The Artists of Northwest Arkansas (ANA) invites you to Join the Celebration on April 25, 2025.
The public is invited to the GRAND Exhibition & Opening of the ANA Gallery at 300 2nd Street in downtown Rogers, Arkansas. Artwork by the 16 ANA Gallery Group artists will be featured. In addition to refreshments and live music, there will be a drawing and a presentation from Zeek Taylor, iconic Eureka Springs artist and ANA member. Admission is free.
About the Gallery
The ANA Gallery, established in 2021, is a cooperative, professional gallery of 16 award-winning ANA artists. The diverse range of original artworks and creative styles — from realistic to abstract, landscape to figurative — offers the community opportunities to enjoy the artworks and to connect with the artists who created them. This unique group of artists includes: Becky Christenson, Stan Dark, Terry Dushan, Mary Datum, Carol Hart, Gerald “Scout” Hatley, David Hyatt, Gary Johnson, Melissa Milton, Jan Partin, Roz Ramey, Kathleen Siegfried, Catherine Stone-Stecklein, and Pat Sweeden.
Our History
For over 30 years ANA has offered a welcoming and inclusive place for artists to showcase their artwork, learn new skills, and be part of the growing art landscape in Northwest Arkansas. In 2021 ANA opened their first gallery at the Rogers Experimental House on West Walnut Street. The tornadoes that struck the city of Rogers in the spring of 2024 damaged the building and left the gallery homeless. Then in January 2025 a 3,500 square foot building was secured blocks away from the original gallery. The new site at 300 N. 2nd Street now houses both the ANA Gallery and the ANA Studio.
Value to NWA?
Creating the ANA Gallery and establishing the ANA Gallery Group has allowed the expansion of programs and services for ANA members and the Northwest Arkansas community at large. The ANA Gallery invites the community to attend opening receptions the second Thursday of each month as part of Art on the Bricks, 4:30-7:30 p.m. Four times a year ANA sponsors a membership show that displays work by any of the nearly 200 members who wish to participate. Receptions feature refreshments, drinks, live music, plenty of wonderful art, and the opportunity to visit with the artists. ANA also holds it’s annual 6×6 Silent Auction in December, artists’ presentations and social paint night each month, and a variety of classes and workshops throughout the year.
