Do not miss this opportunity to tour Art Ventures’ ongoing exhibition
Do not miss this opportunity to tour Art Ventures’ ongoing exhibition From the Heart – The Power of It! Our First Thursday Reception will be held April 7th between 5 pm and 8:30 pm. This event will take place at our gallery on 20 S. Hill Ave, Fayetteville AR, 72701. Beverages and refreshments will be provided, and we’ll be handing out free COVID At-Home Tests while supplies last. Come for an opportunity to meet our artists and spend an evening surrounded by live music and incredible, meaningful artwork. In addition, this First Thursday will feature a live portrait sketch by artists Celestine Eichler and Amy Eichler.
April 7th is also NWA Gives 2022! On this day of giving back in the NWA community, Art Ventures invites you to make a donation of any size to enable us to continue making art for everyone. We believe in the power of art to create spaces of empathy, begin important conversations, and provide a creative and healing outlet for all people. Art Ventures is passionate about art education not only because of the intellectual and communal benefits, but also because it gives children a voice. As April is Child Abuse Awareness Month, we want to take this opportunity to affirm our dedication to providing a safe space and outlet for all children in our community. Through your support, we continue to grow our outreach and make accessible, inclusive spaces for the most vulnerable in our community.
From the Heart – The Power of It! will feature work by Cheri Bohn, Cheryl Buell, Ana Buitrago, Lee Ann Dodson, Amy Eichler, Karolyn Farrell, Bia Furtado, Carol Hart, Justice Henderson, Eloa Jane, Hannah Jeremiah, Cheryl Kellar, Diana Michelle, Denice Nicholson, So-eun Park, Lourdes Valverde, and Mim Wynne. This exhibition opened on March 3rd, 2022, and will close on April 24th, 2022.
Parking is available onsite in front of the gallery in the yard. Free shuttle pickup begins at 4:45 p.m. on Center St. between the Fayetteville Downtown Square and the Fire Station.
