Let’s explore the ancient technique of maiolica, where clay becomes a canvas! In this workshop, registrants will work with bisque fired pieces and decorate them with maiolica colorants.
Students will be able to choose two vessels to decorate. The instructor will lead them through various decoration techniques (slip trailing glazes, painting, wax resist techniques). Fall in love with the style of pottery that defined the Italian Renaissance!
