Event Details

Yanique Graham is a Jamaican-born artist based in
Bentonville, Arkansas. Her art is a journey of self-expression,
curiosity, and personal growth. She found early on that she
was naturally drawn to art, particularly unique works of art
that challenged the traditional practices. She was in search of
her own unique personal self-expression when she became
fascinated with paper quilling/art, essentially the
manipulation of paper to create intricately detailed works.
Shortly after graduating from the University of Arkansas with
an Interdisciplinary Studies Degree with a focus on business,
communication, and social work, she began her self-taught
artistic journey of paper on canvas.
Working from her home studio, she developed and refined the
skills of working with paper – experimenting and exploring
various techniques. She indulged in the complexities of the
human experience through portraiture and has since executed
commissions throughout Northwest Arkansas and New York.
While she currently is engaged in portraiture, she is working on
expanding her focus to create large scale pieces while
exploring and diving deeper into to spiritual evolution and
higher consciousness, a personal project to explore the divine
within while remaining open to universal guidance and
hunches. Equipped with canvas, paper, paint , glue, and a little
bit of magic, Yanique is curious and continues to push herself
further to learn new skills and techniques to incorporate into
her artwork.
