World Suicide Prevention Day is an awareness day observed on September 10th to provide worldwide commitment and action to prevent suicides, with various activities worldwide since 2003. In remembrance and awareness of Suicide Prevention, Art Ventures invite you to join us Saturday, September 10th, from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm to discover the power of artistic expression with a hands-on practice. We will provide all needed materials.

Art Ventures wants to invite people of all ages to learn a new way of artistic expression that can provide a healthy coping mechanism during a crisis such as suicidal thoughts. This technique is called tessellation. Tessellation has a pretty simply meaning: a pattern made with polygons that completely fills a space with no gaps, spaces or overlaps. Tessellations are all around us, such as in floor tiles and artworks.
