Lino Cut Printmaking

Come learn how to carve and print your own linocut design by hand. This class will teach you all you need to know to create a beautiful, well-made linocut at home from first draft to final print. Students will be introduced to linocut materials and tools, guided through creating a design draft that is suitable for relief printing, and shown different ways to transfer and carve images into linoleum. By the end of this class, students will have developed the skills to create and print a multi-color image that can be used in many different ways. Students will experience the satisfaction of printing a whole edition of beautiful and well-made prints and leave inspired with the possibilities! All supplies provided. *Masks will be required while in the building.
