The year is 1941, America is rebounding from The Great Depression, and WWII has not yet begun. There is a feeling of optimism in the country, and in Fayetteville. The Reverend Sam Yancey is determined to make Mount Sequoyah a centerpiece of Arkansas.
Rev. Yancey and his lovely wife invite you to join them for a formal Gala in Parker Hall to raise awareness for the 1942 plan to add cottages to the budding Mount Sequoyah Conference Center. There will be delightful finger foods, refreshing beverages and top notch entertainment. Our featured performer is the illustrious Bella Fitzgerald, singing her famous hit Penny the Poocher. Here’s to looking at a glamourous and decadent evening, where surely no one dies.
Tickets to the events range from $85-$125.
Tickets include drinks and light appetizers, officials said, and pens and pencils will be provided for clue tracking. Period-appropriate dress is also recommended.
