NWA Playwrights Festival

Presented by Smokehouse Players and Arkansas Playwrights Workshop, this Magdalene Serenity House benefit is a spotlight series of staged readings featuring 21 actors and directors working on 14 different scripts by some of our finest local playwrights. Each performance offers a new play by a different playwright with free pre-show music provided by local musicians before each show! It’s a celebration of everything local!

Tickets are free (donations accepted at the door). All donations received for this event to benefit Magdalene Serenity House.

NO RESERVED SEATING/SMALL VENUE. First come, first served. Doors open one hour before curtain. Beer, wine, and chips available for sale prior to the show.
