Don’t miss this family friendly, FREE event — Saturday, March 30 at 12:30pm in the Commons!

Patricia Rodriguez is a therapist and creative based in Northwest Arkansas, who strives to live life through the lens of kindness, hopefulness, and play. Patricia earned her Master of Social Work at the University of Arkansas where she also earned her BSW. She has worked in advocacy and service roles with a number of community-oriented nonprofits including The Bail Project, Hark at the Center for Collaborative Care, Feed Communities, and OneCommunity.

Patricia’s creative work intersects with her career through Selena Storytime, a bilingual and bicultural story time where Patricia engages audiences as the Tejano music icon, Selena. Drawing on her experience as a teen mom, she believes through expression and play, children and caregivers can continue to deepen their curiosity, joy, and build human connection as a part of our collective healing.

Patricia’s inspirations include Selena, Levar Burton, Mr. Rogers, The Nanny, and John Leguizamo as Chichi Rodriguez.

In her spare time, Patricia volunteers on The NWACC Foundation Board, is a part of the Latinx Theatre Project’s ensemble cast, runs, rolls down hills, learns to breakdance, and spends time with family.
