About

OZ Art NWA was founded in 2017 in Bentonville, a region known for its growing arts scene steeped in cultural institutions and community engagement. From the start, the organization set out to elevate the regional arts environment by amplifying the work of local and visiting artists and by displaying a growing art collection in public and unexpected locations throughout the area.

Over time OZ Art NWA has built a Collection that includes murals, outdoor installations, sculptures, paintings, and drawings in a wide variety of media and forms. These works are displayed in venues and public spaces such as restaurants, shops, parks, trails, and other community gathering points. By placing art in everyday settings — cafés, bike paths, city streets, parks — OZ Art NWA invites people to encounter art as part of daily life rather than only in traditional galleries or museums.
The Collection reflects a commitment to contemporary voices and meaningful themes including diversity, gender equality, and racial equity. Through this approach, OZ Art NWA not only showcases aesthetic beauty, but also fosters conversation, awareness, and community connection.

In addition to installations and public art, OZ Art NWA collaborates with other arts organizations, curators, and local partners to realize large‑scale public art projects and to support the broader creative ecosystem in Northwest Arkansas. Their work transforms public spaces into venues for art, exploration, and shared experience, helping to bring art to a wider audience and to integrate it into the everyday rhythms of community life.
