Mission
The Ozark Mountains British Brass Band is a British type brass band. The unique sound of a British-Style Brass Band comes from the choice of instruments and the scoring of the music.
About
It has no string or woodwind instruments. The band utilizes authentic musical arrangements and the standardized instrumentation of cornets, flugelhorns, tenor horns, baritones, trombones, euphoniums, tubas and percussion. Concert performance repertoire includes classical music, hymn tunes, jazz, patriotic, marches, show tunes, pop tunes and original compositions for British brass bands. Soloists on various instruments are regularly featured. Programs can be customized to suit the occasion and season. Program notes can be provided in printed or narrative form. In an educational setting, the band can provide an introduction to various instruments including brief demonstrations.
