Join certified yoga teacher Mari for a fun, all-level class that blends yoga and Latin dance-inspired cardio.
Yoga offers an array of benefits including improved balance and flexibility as well as increased strength and resilience. Our class will begin with stretching and warming up our muscles. Next, we’ll add a cardio component through incorporating Latin Dance movements to up-tempo music. Finally, we’ll take to our mats to cool down and integrate our practice.
Mari has a longtime interest in promoting wellness–first as a nutrition manager for the City of Chicago, then as a ballroom dance instructor and studio owner, and now as a certified yoga teacher. Mari loves the phrase “yoga meets you where you are”, and invites all bodies to join the dance.

A ballet performance for kids and families.
NWA Ballet Theatre is thrilled to join Fayetteville Public Library for Super Saturday on March 22! Our time with you will feature a preview of our upcoming ballet titled, “Exposed: A Ballet on The Trail.” The piece features an original score by Emmy-winning composer, Lendell Black, and the images of local photographer, Brent Umphlett. The ballet’s theme is centered on the human draw to expose oneself to the beauty and inspiration of nature, hence the title, “Exposed.” After performing, we look forward to inviting the audience to join our dancers in a creative movement exercise, responding to photos and music. We hope to see you there!

Circus for a Cause is a one night event and one month exhibition where artists, performers, creatives, and community members will gather in celebration of InTRANSitive – the only nonprofit that works to advance the cause of Trans liberation in Arkansas through art, education, advocacy, organizing and culture in order to create effective systemic change and on-the-ground impact.
Inspired by mutual aid and the concept of embodied craftivism, this event is made possible by local artists of all mediums joining together to display and donate their craft for the greater good.
This means that all work is donated — all proceeds go directly to InTRANSitive.
