Event Details
Arkansas film comes alive on the big screen during the inaugural LeapFest, presented by Leaping Dog Productions, on Saturday, Jan. 25th from 6:30-12:00 AM at the Razorback Malco in Fayetteville. The evening will be divided into two film blocks–Drama/Comedy and Horror/Sci-fi/Action. Admission to each block is $10. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance here. An afterparty will follow at a location TBD (check website here to be updated).
“As filmmakers, we know the thrill of watching your film on the big screen with an audience,” said Brett Helms founder of LeapFest. “I’ve had the privilege of attending festivals and experiencing that magical moment when your hard work is shown on a big screen. LeapFest was created to share that experience with others, but without the pressure or formality of a festival. This is a dedicated space for filmmakers to bring their crew, family, and friends and share their work in a theater setting. It’s also an opportunity to showcase talented filmmakers right here in Arkansas. LeapFest is about celebrating storytelling, connecting with the local film community, and creating an event that feels personal, inspiring, and fun!”
