About Jordie Lane: JORDIE LANE Australian-born , East Nashville based artist JORDIE LANE releases chart-topping fourth album 'Tropical Depression.’ Melbourne-born, Nashville-based Folk-Americana artist Jordie Lane was conceived by the muddy banks of the Murray River in Victoria, Australia, born to a comedian and a clown. His early years were spent in a traveling circus, an unconventional upbringing that has undeniably shaped his artistic journey. But as Lane has said: “I’m not imaginative enough to come up with some bullsh## origin story, it was just normal to me growing up like that”.

A seasoned road warrior, Lane has shared the stage with legendary acts like Billy Bragg, The Moody Blues, Gotye, Old Crow Medicine Show, Marlon Williams, Mary Gauthier, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Kim Richey, and Eilen Jewell, among others. He has also graced the stages of major festivals across the US, UK, Australia, and Canada, including Philadelphia, Sisters Folk Festival, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg Folk Festival, West Coast Blues & Roots, Port Fairy, Queenscliff, and the Woodford Folk Festival in Australia.

Jordie released his new album, Tropical Depression, to great acclaim, especially in his homeland, debuting at No. 1 on the ARIA Australian Country Chart. The album was crafted in the heart of Nashville with Grammy-nominated producer, engineer, and multi- instrumentalist Jon Estes (Kacey Musgraves, Dolly Parton, Rodney Crowell), Mixed by the renowned Noah Georgeson (The Strokes, Devendra Banhart, Andy Shauf, Marlon Williams) and mastered by Juno Award-winning Philip Shaw Bova (Feist, Father John Misty, Angel Olsen, Bahamas). Lane has earned a reputation for his inventive use of unconventional spaces to create stunning records.
