Join John Lasater, Peter Pohle, and others for a one-of-a-kind studio class in oil painting. Class will meet every Tuesday (except certain breaks around holidays and Summer), starting June 9, 2026. There are two time slots to choose from: 11:30am-2pm, and 4:00pm-6:30pm. Space is limited to six students per time slot. If you want to come to both, that’s an option also!
$200/month, or $375/month if attending both sessions.
FAQs:
1. Supplies? The classroom will have tables, chairs and easels, but you bring the rest. There will be storage if you want to leave your supplies. There is no cleanup sink, so brushes need to be taken home to wash…recommend bringing a towel to wrap them in.
2. Medium? Up to you! Instructors have experience with multiple mediums, though oil is the main specialty.
3. Curriculum? No. It’s casual. Instruction or exercises will be tailored to you as you express need. Mainly, just come and work on what you want to work on, and count on the instructor being able to guide.
4. Holding a Spot? You might think of the cost as a membership fee. However, if you take a month or two off it may be difficult to hold your place. This can be handled case by case.
