Visual Art Night is a free and interactive event showcasing four visual artists and their 2023/2024 Creative Exchange Fund projects.

Springdale, AR — The Medium, a radically inclusive venue for creative expression in downtown Springdale, is hosting its second Visual Art Night, a part of the Creative Exchange program (CXF). CXF offers vital support to artists, including time, money, and free space, to help them connect with audiences and explore new ideas.  The Creative Exchange Fund is supported by the Tyson Family Foundation.

Visual Art Night offers the public a chance to explore the creative processes of current CXF artists in residence Vincent Frimpong and Megan Pobywajlo. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the Golden Creatives exhibition by Carla Nemec in the Medium’s Main Gallery and an outdoor installation, Rachis Alarys, by Timothy T. Smith on the east side of the building.  Guests can visit resident artists' studios to see their projects firsthand and learn about their creative processes.

"We're excited to blend the energy of these visual artists,” says Amber Perrodin, The Medium’s Artist and Community Manager.  “With open studios and both indoor and outdoor exhibits, this Visual Art Night celebrates the diverse talents of CXF artists, inviting everyone to dive into this inspiring realm."
