About
Part of John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, the Visual Arts Department has developed over decades to offer a broad range of visual arts programs that combine traditional artistry with digital media and professional practice. Students work in state-of-the-art facilities such as the Windgate Visual Art buildings and the Peer-Andrus Studio Project Barn, gaining skills in design, photography, cinema, illustration, and more. The department also hosts student exhibitions, community outreach, summer camps, and events that connect learners with local audiences and professional opportunities. Through a curriculum rooted in creative exploration, conceptual thinking, and real-world production, the JBU Visual Arts Department helps artists evolve their craft and prepare for careers in the arts industry.
