About
NWA Movement Hub is a dance-focused organization that presents classes, performance opportunities, outreach programs, and community engagement initiatives. Their work spans from offering dance classes and arts education to producing performances and fostering partnerships with local and regional organizations.
Among their projects is Flyover Contemporary Dance — a resident contemporary dance company associated with NWA Movement Hub — which works to showcase contemporary dance talent from the “flyover states,” championing choreography and performance on a broader stage.
They also run a choreographic lab called DanceChance NWA, which provides regional choreographers a platform to develop and workshop new dance works. Each “season” culminates in a public showcase, giving audiences access to a wide variety of dance styles including modern, contemporary, ballet, tap, hip hop, circus/aerial, and more.
In addition to serving seasoned dancers and choreographers, NWA Movement Hub emphasizes dance as a form of lifelong learning, community building, and personal well-being.
