The council’s goal is to support Irish culture and arts—especially Irish dance—in Northwest Arkansas.

It supports events and fundraisers such as ceilidhs (Irish social dance gatherings) and Irish dance feiseanna (competitions) in partnership with the Rince Arkansas Academy of Irish Dance.
