Event Details
Exquisite Creatures is a dialogue with art, nature, and science that asks the question: what is it about the natural world that calls to us? Throughout the exhibition, artist and naturalist Christopher Marley reflects on humanity’s intimate relationship with nature, revealing its intricate beauty and diversity through three-dimensional works comprised of animal, mineral, and plant specimens arranged in precise, geometric compositions. Shown together, the works create an immersive environment which inspires wonder and fosters a desire to preserve the natural world.
Crystal Bridges welcomes guests to experience the connection between art, nature, and science, emotionally and aesthetically, throughout the exhibition. The museum will activate the show’s themes through nature and science-based programming and activities both inside the museum and outdoors across its trails and grounds.

Event Details
The Portal inspires Crystal Bridges visitors to explore Jewel’s concept of the Three Spheres of existence: the inner world, outer world, and the unseen world, encompassing the human experience of mind, body, and spirit. When the spheres align, happiness, harmony, and well-being can be achieved, while misaligned spheres manifest as anxiety, anger, or unrest. Jewel has meticulously crafted each aspect of the art experience to harmonize the Three Spheres, creating a dynamic space and experience where inner thoughts, external actions and hidden emotions converge.
The Portal: An Art Experience by Jewel is on view at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas through July 28, 2024. The experience runs Thursdays through Sundays most weeks. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for kids 11-18, and free for kids 10 and under. Tickets for members are $20 for adults, $12 for kids 11-18, and free for kids 10 and under. A cash bar and culinary add-ons are available. To select dates and purchase a ticket, please visit crystalbridges.org.

Event Details
Ra-Ve Cultural Foundation (Ra-Ve) is well-known across the arts landscape of Northwest Arkansas for providing classes, training, and musical events for all who are interested in the music and dance tradition of classical India. The Master Concert series is the ultimate expression of that vision. Join us as we celebrate these ancient, lustrous—and highly entertaining—arts!
On October 6th, Ra-Ve sponsors something truly special—100 Strings! 100 strings on just two instruments, that is: the Saraswathi veena and the santoor. The Saraswathi veena has seven strings and the santoor, uniquely prepared for this tour, has 93—add them all together and you have 100 strings of pure musical enchantment!
The tour brings something extra and very special when it comes to Bentonville: for this performance only, Vittal Ramamoorthy, one of the leading violinists of the Carnatic stage and a great supporter of Ra-Ve since our beginning in 2018, joins the onstage brilliance! Nirmala Rajasekar, the star Saraswathi veena player on the tour, felt that it was important to include Vittal to honor him and his work on behalf of Ra-Ve Cultural Foundation. So for this event, and this event only, 100 Strings showcases the full range of stringed instrumentation—plucked, hammered, and bowed…a musical windfall that will not be offered anywhere else.
We invite you to join us, the masters of the Saraswathi veena, the santoor, the violin, the mridangam, and the tabla, for 100 Strings (or should it be 104?), a beautiful and truly unique musical experience!
Food boxes for this event are available for purchase. Visit the Store on this campaign to order.
