Media Hub FAQs
The CACHE Media Hub was born from the need of tools & knowledge for Northwest Arkansas creatives, primarily in the realm of content creation and live events. Wanting to help fill that gap, the Media Hub pilot project launched in July 2021 to serve the needs of local creatives. By providing low-cost equipment rental, training, project consultation, and more–the CACHE Media Hub continues to grow the community through project support and networking opportunities
All you need to do is attend an Orientation, fill out our Member Intake Form, provide a copy of an updated ID/Driver’s License. Also, our equipment rentals are project-based, meaning that you’ll need to fill out the New Project Form with each equipment rental. We love learning how the equipment is being used by our members!
Anyone can become a member. Although, we only allow equipment rentals to members 18+ years of age.
Membership is free! Equipment rental pricing depends on the items and rental period.
Media Hub members gain access to equipment rental from the Producer’s Rental Outlet (PRO), access to powerful iMac computer workstations (with softwares like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, Logic Pro X, etc.), access to 1-on-1 training sessions with Media Hub staff, and more!
Only Media Hub members can rent out equipment from the Producer’s Rental Outlet (PRO). After filling up your shopping cart, selecting your pickup/return and dates/times, then submit your reservation. Once your reservation is submitted, we’ll then follow up with a payment link. We accept debit and credit cards for payment.
Don’t worry, we won’t be mad, just let us know as soon as possible. We understand that accidents happen. When we receive a piece of gear that has been damaged, we will send you an email summarizing the damage based on our second thorough inspection. Any additional info you can provide about your experience is helpful and can be provided by replying to the initial damage email. Our team will then send the gear to be estimated & repaired. This process can take 1-4 weeks depending on the equipment. Once the item is repaired we will contact you with the cost and arrange payment. If you carry your own third-party business insurance please note that we expect repair bills settled promptly by the responsible party. We will not work with your insurance company directly to settle claims.
We do require a security deposit on each order. However, the security deposit is refundable upon the return of an equipment order, and Media Hub staff have deemed the equipment in good working order.
The rental period is calculated beginning at the time of your picking up the rental order, and increases per 24 hour period after that. We also offer discounted rates (3-day discount, 7-day discount, weekend discount). The pricing is calculated by the equipment’s day rate.
Example: A 3-day rental (non-weekend) that has a 11am pick-up time on Tuesday, has until Friday 11am to return their gear without being charged a late fee. Also, since it’s a 3-day (non-weekend) rental, the pricing is calculated at 1.5 times the rate. So, instead of being charged for the 3 days, the order is only charged for 1.5 days.
Your rental order pick-up and return times are selected by you, through our Producer’s Rental Outlet (PRO) online portal. Pick-up and return times are limited to our open office hours, which is 10am – 4pm Monday through Friday.
We do not require payment at online checkout – the online submission through the Producer’s Rental Outlet (PRO) is a reservation. Once your reservation is submitted, we’ll then follow up with a payment link. We accept debit and credit cards for payment.

Just email us at email@example.com, and we can help you extend your rental. In some cases, due to limited quantity or scheduling, some items may not be eligible for extension.
It’s not the end of the world, just reach out to us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org or 479-409-6438, and we’ll do what we can to work with you. In some cases, some items that are returned late may be affecting another rental order, and so those items would be subject to a late fee by the person returning the late gear.
Don’t worry, we’ve all done it before. Just shoot us a quick email at email@example.com, to let us know. We’ll make sure we have a Media Hub staff person available for your drop off.
If you cancel your order before the order’s pick-up time, there is no penalty or fee for canceling your order.

All ages are welcome for our classes and workshops. Equipment rentals are only accessible to individuals 18 years and older.

We recommend parking by the door ramp, on the north side of the building.
