The twice-a-year celebration of Indian classical music, showcasing the talent and passion of local artists in the northwest Arkansas area.
Sponsored by the Ra-Ve Cultural Foundation, (Ra-Ve), the Sapthaswara celebration of Indian music is YOUR opportunity to perform in front of live, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable audiences. You bring the talent, the skill, and the passion, and Ra-Ve provides everything else—the venue, the promotion, the support and encouragement, and the technology. You’ve worked hard to learn your art; maybe you’re just starting, maybe you’ve been studying it for years. But no matter where you are in your musical journey, you have a home at Sapthaswara—all levels are welcome! We love to hear your personal interpretations of classical traditions, but we also embrace new music based on classical and folk forms (not fusion or Bollywood; the mission of RVCF is to promote traditional Indian performing arts).
