The Mixtape Music Series was created in order to offer an all-ages, live music experience to Downtown Springdale. Each of the talented musicians are a recipient of the Creative Exchange Fund and will be exploring new approaches to their medium, expanding their audiences, pushing their collaborative visions, and taking creative risks. Join us once a month for these FREE, experimental concerts with a house-show vibe.

Table Talks is a casual peer-to-peer conversation series hosted by The Medium, a creative destination in downtown Springdale. Each month two local creatives will share a brief presentation about their creative process and journey based on a given topic. The topic for May is “In Studio: Sharing best practices to be productive and prolific in studio.”
Featured artists include Karen Castleman and Brandon Weston.
Karen Castleman is a dancer, choreographer, educator and community organizer, passionate about creating experiences that deepen the understanding of dance as an art form.
Brandon Weston is a spiritual healer, folklorist, and writer. His work focuses on traditions of medicine and magic from the Ozark Mountain region.
Table Talks is an easy way for you to meet other creatives, get inspired, eat good food, and find your people. This series will run through June 2024, welcoming everyone, especially the creative community. Dinner will be provided by Secondhand Smoke.
This event is free. Seating is limited and registration is required.

Table Talks is a casual peer-to-peer conversation series hosted by The Medium, a creative destination in downtown Springdale. Each month two local creatives will share a brief presentation about their creative process and journey based on a given topic. The topic for June is “Reflections on Life and Art: how has one impacted the other?”
Featured artists include Leilani Law and Zeek Taylor.
Leilani Law is a native of Ute land in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. She holds a degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is active as a studio artist & arts mentor for youth & adults.
Award-winning artist Zeek Taylor is a recipient of the Arkansas Governor’s Arts Award for Lifetime Achievement and the Idle Class Magazine Black Apple Legacy Award.

cheerleader) and a stripper named Sweetheart, she tapes Kyle to a chair
and forces him to watch as they reenacts scenes from their painful past.
In the piece de resistance, they plan to cover the room in
meat and honey so Kyle will be mauled by a bear. Through this night of
emotional trials and ridiculous theatrics, Nan and Kyle are both freed
from their past in this smart, dark revenge comedy.
