Equal parts maker market, open house, & community rummage sale / swap, the Likewise Bazaar is a great time to shop, mingle, & learn more about our spaces, resources, & [really awesome] community. E𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟬𝗔-𝟮𝗣 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿!
We’re joined by lots of talented local artisans, community rummage sellers, & some of the full-time members who create their work from our space: Candles by Whitney, Gourdgeous Soaps, & Christina Kanistanaux Pottery.
Whether it’s plants, vintage, handmade items, or local art, you’re sure to find something special! We’ll have a “free” area where you can bring unwanted items, grab what you need, or donate to the cause. Everything left over will be given to Peace at Home thrift store, who supports survivors of domestic abuse & their children.
During the Bazaar we’re also hosting mini rug tufting workshops with Melspace Creative! She’ll walk you through the steps of designing & creating your own custom mini rug with a tufting gun. The class is limited to just a handful of spots, so be sure to grab your tickets in advance at 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘦.𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺/𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴. A $75 ticket covers all supplies & instruction!
If you’ve never had a chance to check out our facilities, be sure to ask us for a tour. We’ll have First Day 🆓 passes available for you to test out the coworking wings at a future date.

WHAT WE CARRY
A visual story of the humanity of a people displaced, in search of belonging, by Tram Colwin.
Opening Reception is Friday, August 9th, from 6:00-8:00, with a Q&A session starting at 7:00 PM, with the artist, Tram Colwin, local refugee participants, and Canopy NWA. This event is free and open to the public, with refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
This exhibit will be on display at the Medium from August 9th – August 29th.
–About the What We Carry—
What We Carry is traveling exhibition that kickoffs this Fall, with three stops across Northwest Arkansas: The Medium in Springdale, 8th ST Market in Bentonville, and the Fayetteville Public Library in Fayetteville.
This collection is designed to connect you with the lives of a few members of Northwest Arkansas’ refugee and immigrant community. The still-life watercolor paintings in this collection are of objects that held special significance to the refugees and immigrants who carried them on their journey to America. Together this collection spotlight the unique experiences of families and individuals from 10 different countries across the globe.
This project worked in collaboration with Iron Lotus Creative to bring to you a visual experience through paintings and video interviews from our local refugee and immigrant community, through a partnership with Canopy NWA.
What We Carry is funded by Artists 360, a program of Mid-America Arts Alliance, made possible through philanthropic support from the Walton Family Foundation, along with contributions from Narrative Network, Louis and Ashlie Page, and private donors.

In September, The Gods of Carnatic come to Bentonville! Ra-Ve is highly honored to host two of the genuine legends of Carnatic music, Naadha Yogi VV Subrabmanyam on the violin and Trichy Sankaran on the mridangam, with this concert. The global influence of these two consummate masters cannot be overstated; they have, over the decades, literally shaped the musical culture of millions of people across the planet. In a rare appearance to Bentonville, they, along with VVS Murari and K.V. The Master Concert series is the ultimate expression of that vision. Join us as we celebrate these ancient, lustrous—and highly entertaining—arts!
On October 6th, Ra-Ve sponsors something truly special—100 Strings! 100 strings on just two instruments, that is: the Saraswathi veena and the santoor. The Saraswathi veena has seven strings and the santoor, uniquely prepared for this tour, has 93—add them all together and you have 100 strings of pure musical enchantment!
The tour brings something extra and very special when it comes to Bentonville: for this performance only, Vittal Ramamoorthy, one of the leading violinists of the Carnatic stage and a great supporter of Ra-Ve since our beginning in 2018, joins the onstage brilliance! Nirmala Rajasekar, the star Saraswathi veena player on the tour, felt that it was important to include Vittal to honor him and his work on behalf of Ra-Ve Cultural Foundation. So for this event, and this event only, 100 Strings showcases the full range of stringed instrumentation—plucked, hammered, and bowed…a musical windfall that will not be offered anywhere else.
We invite you to join us, the masters of the Saraswathi veena, the santoor, the violin, the mridangam, and the tabla, for 100 Strings (or should it be 104?), a beautiful and truly unique musical experience!
