Sprungbilly offers a musical blend that traverses Bluegrass, Newgrass, Jamgrass, and Americana, seasoned with a touch of country and rockabilly, along with a collection of fresh original compositions. Rising from the remnants of two former bands, this collective was born when Ron Landis, a seasoned banjo player, invited musicians from diverse backgrounds to join him every Monday night, upholding a cherished tradition at a local venue.

Brick Fields have won the hearts of loyal fans all over the world with tunes that are solid like a firm conviction. Brick Fields music is much more than blues, though. The Nashville Blues Society has called the Brick Fields sound “A cleansing of the soul”. They’ve also won folk, songwriting and regional music awards, and have been called “a treasure” and “NWA’s hardest working musical group,” by KUAF’s radio program Ozarks At Large.
Dawn, born and raised in Springdale, AR, is the daughter of Arkansas music legend, guitarist Earl Cate of the Cate Brothers Band. Dawn literally grew up in the business. Gifted with a soaring voice that can channel and seamlessly meld influences such as Gladys Knight and Mavis Staples, Dawn got her start with regional favorites Earl’s Garage, sharing the stage with her brother, Devin Cate in venues ranging from Tulsa, OK to Beale Street in Memphis, TN. Now leading her own namesake band, Dawn continues to bring her powerful soul to the people.

Event Details
One of the true leaders of the scene, Steph knows more about Tulsa history and Black Wall Street than any other artist. He often refers to himself as ‘Dick Rowland’ or ‘Dicky Ro’ and says he channels the spirit of Rowland in his rhymes.
Steph is interested in the alchemy of turning tragedy to triumph, and has consistently done things to ‘reclaim’ or ‘flip’ some of the darker aspects of Tulsa’s past. That theme was a constant thread through his 2019 opus Born on Black Wall Street. For example, in his ‘Upside’ video Steph threw a party on the lawn of the ‘Brady Mansion’ – which was once the home of infamous KKK member and Tulsa business leader Tate Brady. In 2019, Steph partnered with his childhood friend former NFL running back Felix Jones to create Skyline Star Records and turn the Brady Mansion into the Skyline Mansion.
The impact of Steph Simon on the city of Tulsa extends even beyond the music he makes. Simon, a father of two girls, is currently partnering with a North Tulsa school to create and implement a new hip-hop education program. Steph is also the creator of World Culture Music Fest, Oklahoma’s largest hip-hop festival and conference. Steph plans to release multiple new projects and music videos in 2020.
Steph Simon is a dope AF hip-hop artist whose music is as authentic as his chilled, happy-go-lucky personality.
His musical taste, coupled with his lyrical artistry, is smooth and cultivates a sound that’s uniquely Black Wall Street. This means his rhymes don’t sound like the dirty south rap, East Coast, or West Coast. Nor does Simon’s rap sound like the Midwest. Simon sounds like Simon. Or, I guess we could say, Steph Simon, sounds like Greenwood, Archer, and Pine.

Event Details
With the rich, bluesy vocals of Darius Rucker and gleeful harmonies of guitarist Mark Bryan, bassist Dean Felber and drummer Jim “Soni” Sonefeld, Hootie & the Blowfish have sold over 25 million records worldwide to date after their infectious melodies hit the airwaves in 1994. The quartet met at the University of South Carolina where endless gigs at frat houses and local bars built a major local buzz. Their blend of pop, folk, blues, soul and rock made them hard to pigeonhole, but easily accessible to anyone who loved good music.
Atlantic Records, impressed by their regional draw, signed them and released Cracked Rear View in 1994. The album had been out for six months before the band played on the Late Show with David Letterman which sent sales skyrocketing, eventually landing at No. 1 on the Billboard chart the following spring. Cracked Rear View and the band went on to win two Grammy Awards®, an MTV Video Music Award, a Billboard Music Award and multiple People’s Choice Awards. Cracked Rear View also earned the band Billboard‘s Band of the Year Award in 1996 and the RIAA’s Diamond® Award for sales in excess of 10 million units. At 21x Platinum®, Cracked Rear View remains among the Top 10 best-selling studio albums in music history.
The band remained a top draw nationwide following their debut and released five more albums for Atlantic: Fairweather Johnson, Musical Chairs, Scattered, Smothered & Covered, Hootie & the Blowfish and The Best of Hootie & the Blowfish, as well as Looking For Lucky on their own Sneaky Long Records and LIVE in Charleston, The Homegrown Concert Event DVD and CD. The band took a break from full-time touring in 2007, reuniting annually for a variety of philanthropic events while also pursuing solo projects. 2019 marked the band’s first full-time touring year in over a decade as they embarked on the sold-out Group Therapy Tour in support of Imperfect Circle, released in late 2019 under a new record deal with Universal Music Group’s Capitol Nashville, and 2024 will see them return to the road once again for the upcoming Summer Camp with Trucks Tour.

Event Details
Smokey & The Mirror is husband wife duo Bryan and Bernice Hembree. Based out of Fayetteville, Arkansas, the Smokey & The Mirror have toured nationally/internationally over the past decade, including a touring collaboration and album with Denmark’s The Sentimentals. The band has also supported tours/concerts for The Wood Brothers, I’m With Her, Elephant Revival, John Fullbright, and more. They play most often as a duo, but also regularly collaborate with luthier/musician Bayard Blain (3 Penny Acre/Bayard Guitars), and drummer/songwriter Ryan Pickop (Nature & Madness). Whatever the configuration, the interplay of their two unique voices coupled with their provoking and engaging songs form the foundation of Smokey & The Mirror.
The Hembrees also work tirelessly on many musical and creative pursuits. They are committed to others’ music as much as their own. They have found that the most satisfying path to longevity in music is to put others’ art in the spotlight or to inspire others’ to find their voice. They believe that the future of music is not winning the “me first” battle, but rather building community. They are founders and co-creators of the Fayetteville Roots Festival (Arkansas) and have partnered with numerous music and community organizations over the past decade to help foster a vibrant music ecosystem in Northwest Arkansas.

Event Details
A Memphis teen rap sensation NLE Choppa has seen his circumstances change with the swiftness. He began freestyling with his friends at 14, started taking it seriously at age 15 and had millions of views and major-label interest shortly after his 16th birthday. He first got his buzz from “No Chorus Pt. 3,” a song and video from his crew Shotta Fam on which Choppa kicks off the song off and steals the show.
Since it’s release in early January, NLE Choppa’s “Shotta Flow” video has amassed more than 12 million views in nearly six weeks. The visual for his breakout record shows a precocious youth who is just as adept at dancing as he is at swinging choppas.
His flows and stylistic choices recall his friend and fellow hometown rapper BlocBoy JB. Yet Choppa is unique. His intensity, voice and dark sense of humor set him apart from the fray. His follow-up record, “Shotta Flow 2,” is approaching 2 million views in under a week.

Music Moves, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to make Black music and the arts accessible to both students and the entire NWA community, is thrilled to announce the return of Freedom Festival in partnership with NWA Juneteenth Committee, Interform, and Community Cohesion Project.
Now in its fourth year, The Freedom Festival is one of Arkansas’ largest commemoration and celebration recognizing Juneteenth, the federal holiday that marks the ending of slavery in the United States. Freedom Festival is a day for Northwest Arkansas and surrounding areas to gather, reflect and share in a festival of music, food, and fun. The Freedom Festival committee invites everyone to experience the goodwill and positivity of the thousands who gather in downtown Springdale for what has become an indispensable, annual NWA tradition.
Over 4,300 people attended to enjoy the family friendly Festival with activations that included a kid’s zone with games and activities, a vendor market featuring local entrepreneurs and businesses, a live fashion show, giveaways for attendees, and an incredible array of musical talent featuring top names and nostalgic acts providing entertainment for the entire family. Last year, Grammy Award winning Bone Thugs-n-Harmony was the headliner of a top-notch musical lineup.
2024 Freedom Festival Music Lineup will include Soul Train Nominated R&B Artist “Donell Jones”, Iconic Funk Band “Cameo”, and Grammy Nominated Hip Hop Artist “Twista”. Several local and regional artists will open the festival.
Freedom Festival is presented by Music Moves in partnership with INTERFORM, The Community Cohesion Project (CCP) and the NWA Juneteenth Committee. Foundation Sponsors include: Walton Family Foundation and Tyson Family Foundation.

Randall Shreve is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist out of Fayetteville, Arkansas. With his soulful vocals and moving melodies, Shreve affects his audiences in a way that is often described as a spiritual experience.
While he has toured for over a decade with and without a band, he also takes the “one-man-band show” to the next level. The show features the artist looping multiple instruments together giving the audience the experience of watching a song being created from scratch. This process often starts off with a drum beat, then progresses to the multiple guitar tracks including rhythm and melody, then he adds additional instrumental tracks and starts singing. His expertise in this process shines in every show.

Modeling is a three-piece experimental electronic group creating introspective music inspired by film scores, visual arts, and personal experiences. Comprised of brothers Connor, Ryan, and Cuinn Brogan, the band places most of their sonic emphasis on intense analog synth sounds and detail-oriented electronic textures. Many of their songs center around themes of longing, alienation, and feelings of nostalgia with lyrical references to dreams and memories of a time before.
Mildenhall is an indie-pop rock band that infuses a blend of trumpet, standing bass, synths, and falsetto harmonies to mesmerize the audience

The Mixtapes are a premier level 90’s tribute band playing all your favorite radio hits from a GREAT decade of music! Each member of this five piece outfit sings, enabling them to convincingly recreate a HUGE range of music spanning The Cranberries, Nirvana, No Doubt, Beastie Boys, TLC, Radiohead, Spice Girls, Weezer, Rage Against the Machine, Britney Spears, Beck, and LOTS MORE…
The music of the 90’s was great from the start, so The Mixtapes bring the songs (and the nostalgia) to life faithfully. This is a high energy stage show–you won’t be able to help but dance and sing along!

Irish singer/songwriter Niall Horan was one-fifth of One Direction, one of the most commercially successful boy bands of all time. As one of the group’s more prolific songwriters, he could also play guitar, which helped him kick off a solo career after the group went on hiatus in 2016. His official solo debut, Flicker, was released in 2017 and topped the charts in the U.S. and his native Ireland. 2020’s sophomore set, the breakup-focused Heartbreak Weather, added another hit (the rollicking “Nice to Meet Ya”) to his roster. In 2023, Horan released his third LP, The Show.

Nearly 30 years after CREED’s formation, the ubiquitous anthems composed by singer Scott Stapp and guitarist Mark Tremonti, performed for millions of fans around the world together with drummer Scott Phillips and bassist Brian Marshall, are part of modern rock and alternative’s DNA. My Own Prison (1997) is one of the late 20th century’s biggest debuts. Human Clay (1999) and Weathered (2001) both entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 1. Full Circle (2009), released after a hiatus, bowed at No. 1 on the Top Rock, Hard Rock, and Alternative charts and No. 2 on the Billboard 200. With more than 53 million albums sold worldwide, CREED stands alongside iconic bands like Van Halen, Guns N’ Roses, and Metallica as one of an elite few hard rock outfits to earn RIAA Diamond-certified status, for more than 11 million sales of Human Clay in the United States.
