161st Anniversary for Battle of Fayetteville

Join us for the 161st Commemoration of the Battle of Fayetteville on Saturday, April 20, 2024. We plan to host living historians on the grounds of
the Headquarters House Museum. We will have various groups to explain and educate about Fayetteville’s role in the conflict of 1861-1865.

We will explore the civilian and military history and customs of the time connected with the Tebbetts House (Headquarter House
Museum). These are to include musket and artillery demonstrations representing exactly what happened in Fayetteville on April 18, 1863
that lead to the Federal victory here.
