The Music Education Initiative will host two-hour “Production Workforce and Technical Training Programs” to address the immediate demand for stage crew staffing in the region. Participants will be trained by live performance technicians on four key areas of the industry: safety, audio, lighting, and best practices. After training, participants may be eligible for upcoming jobs and potential careers as live performance technicians. This workforce development program gives you the hands-on experience you need while developing relationships with key people in the industry. Ultimately, you’ll gain the ability to be hired for entry-level employment at an hourly rate much higher than the current minimum wage.
