NWA Jazz Society Presents NICK MANCINI QUARTET FEATURING JOHN DAVERSA

The NAJS Summer Jazz Concert Series moves into Starr Theater to present the NICK MANCINI QUARTET FEATURING JOHN DAVERSA. Vibraphonist/Marimbist and composer NICK MANCINI was the Honoree at the 18th annual Los Angeles Jazz Vibes Summit and DRUM Magazine’s Reader’s Poll named him “Best Jazz Percussionist”. Nick has performed and recorded with such diverse luminaries as Arturo Sandoval, Peter Erskine, Poncho Sanchez, Amos Lee, and Kamasi Washington. John Daversa is a distinguished trumpet-player, composer and arranger who performed and/or recorded with Fiona Apple, Burt Bacharach, Herbie Hancock, the Bob Mintzer Big Band, and the Yellowjackets, and played on various television and films soundtracks including King of Queens.
